It is the result of the development of new high-technology to connect Entertainment with Media. In the time of "Knowledge Economy", the Entertainment-Media Industry with new high-tech media means, which mainly produces recreational products or service, has made heavy impact on the Traditional Culture Industry, even on the Information Industry and the Communication Industry. In fact, many countries are having paid attention to the Entertainment-Media Industry, because it is making global economy increase fast. Compared to the developed countries, our country fall behind to develop the Entertainment-Media Industry, Additionally, we are in the process of turning Planning Economy to Marketing Economy, so the Entertainment-Media Industry in China has many special problems to deal with.Generally speaking, Entertainment-Media Industry is a kind of new industry. Many people praise or critic it only in the point of view of morality or culture, but few can make it according to the theory of the Industry. The Entertainment and the Media are having limited by traditional ideas and traditional economy system in China. After entering WTO, we can't escape to face to international Entertainment & Media groups.The thesis researches the application of Industry Economy in the Entertainment-Media Industry and a great deal of examples compared the management model of foreign companies with that of local companies, find the distance between we and them, and try to look for some methods to develop it.With compare, the writer finds that the Entertainment-Media Industry in developed countries has been a big Industry and is trying to develop bigger and bigger. Although they have their own special points, the regularity can be fond, which is what China Entertainment-Media Industry need. In fact, all analysis of the thesis is used to help the market of China Entertainment-Media Industry grow in strength.
