Contactless IC Card is one kind of new technology in the field of IC card, which is the combination of RF technology and IC card technology. Because contactless IC card has some advantages over common IC card such as its high working speed, good anticollsion quality, long working distance, there will be a good prospect for it in many fields such as intelligent access control, automatic pricing, identity distinguishing, and so on. At present, contactless IC card has been widely used in intelligent resident zone construction, and plays an important role in the all-purpose card intelligent administration of intelligent resident zone.Card sender is an important part in all-purpose card intelligent access control system of intelligent resident zone.User cards used by residents to access some place are sended by card sender.Power consumption and anti-jamming are one of the important guide lines.The card sender in this paper used some measure to reduce the power consumption and improve the anti-jamming.At first this paper generally introduces the contactless IC card, and gives the compare of LEGIC technology and MIFARE technology, which are the representative technologies of contactless IC card technology at present. After that the MIFARE technology developed by PHILIPS Semiconductors is introduced in detail. The paper gives emphasis to the introduction of MIFARE contactless IC card's inner structure, function constitution, memory structure and the read-write component, MF RC500.Then it describes the basic modules and their functions in the all-purpose card intelligent administration of intelligent resident zone. Based on these, the paper introduces the functions of configuration card and user card in detail, partial hardware circuit diagram, communication protocols between PC and card sender, and the flow chart of the card sender are depicted. This design uses PIC16F876, for it has good reliability. With timely opening and closing RF in the software program, the card sender has many good features, such as reliability, low power consumption and etc. To the design of the program of PC, this paper uses Delphi as the interface exploitingplatform, and introduces the design of VaComm serial interface communication, including the communication protocols, flow chart and partial programs of serial interface's receiving and transmitting modules. VaComm is a new pattern component, can be transplanted well, and can control serial interface communication safely, reliably and quickly. At last, with the login interface as the example, the paper introduces the method of Delphi's linking Access database and the merit of Access database.As a consequence, there are partial program codes of card sender' confecting configuration card and user card, and hardware design circuit diagram of card sender of the paper.
