For the prime reason to accelerate the processing speed of the ID Card Access Control System and founded on the analysis of such current key technologies as Access Control System, Intelligent IC card and DSP, the paper has advanced the idea of designing a fast Access Control System based on DSP chip and expatiated the system project and its relevant theories and thoughts of the hardware and software. In the eight chapters of the paper, the summarizations of Access Control System Intelligence IC card technology and separately are separately set forth; and it is also expatiated that the hardware composing, the method of realization of the down-software and the ideas of the up-DLLs of the ID card Access Control System which takes the TMS320F240 chip as its kernel processor.Under the precondition of magnanimity of ID Card information, the emphasis of the paper is whether the controller can meet the system's need for the fastness and real-time quality. Accordingly, in the end of this paper, we made comparisons between the system and the former one on the processing speed, the memory capability and the cost, and also we made a prospect of its appliance foreground and development direction.
