This paper mainly deals with the implement of the remote control on the basis of the GRB robot and research on some problems brought up in this process, as well as research on the key question meted in the realization of control long-distance and network.The article mainly divides into three major parts. Firstly, introduced GRB four degrees of freedom mechanical arms and discussed separately the mechanical arm structure composition, the realization function, the control flow as well as protects oneself the function to perform. Secondly, discussed essential technology emphatically in the long-distance monitoring, including network communication and data transmission strategy. Thirdly, completed the design of network video supervisory system. In this part, it is included system structure and its principle of work, system hardware introduction and system main module design.on the basis of the existing system, it is proposed the long-distance control system improvement measure, including how does enhance the system the response time, how enhances the system reliably and so on.
