With the continuous development of Web technology in recent years, it is possible for remote supervisory and control of production process. Based on the reconstruction of hydro power station automation, a scheme for remote supervisory and control system with stereo security guarantee based on J2EE framework is proposed, which implements secure remote supervisory and control system based on J2EE.In this paper, firstly various technologies of remote supervisory and control at home and abroad are listed and analyzed, especially for system founded on network. Selection of developing models and framework technologies, network security and related problems are presented and analyzed in detail. Secondly, the characteristics and related techniques of J2EE are studied, based on whose advantages, J2EE is applied as a developing platform for remote supervisory and control system. And then, data remote supervisory and control are designed and realized through J2EE, and further more it is optimized to overcome the disadvantage of narrow bandwidth in order to improve the stability of real-time supervisory and control. Finally, security guarantee for remote supervisory and control system is come true through three methods including role-based authentication and authorization, safe transmission by SSL, and Distributed Hybrid Intrusion Prevention System (DHIPS). Considering the complexity of operators' type and level, and the security sensitivity of remote supervisory and control, authentication and authorization service is implemented on basis of JAAS. The authentication and authorization service, grounding on role, includes authentication, authorization, operation audition and management of related users, roles and resources. The software usage security is carried out in application software layer. Because of the opening network, the transmission security of network data is challenged. Encrypt transmission through SSL is come true in this paper, which guarantees data security in the system application layer. Besides the software safeguard, DHIPS is designed and implemented in this paper, which alternates security strategy of remote supervisory and control system from passive prevention to initiative protection and greatly strengthens system security. The hardware security is realized in physical layer. In conclusion, stereo security guarantee from software to hardware is implemented.The remote supervisory and control system developed here has already been used in Beiyao hydro power station in Xianju, Zhejiang province, which improves the management of the station, guarantees security and stable running, enhances workers' efficiency, and cuts off the cost. In a word, the system is of important theory meanings and industry application values.
