The Research And Application Of The Portal Pattern In Management Information System Of The Port Enterprise

EIP(Enterprise Information Portal) means that they can effectively organize all kinds of application system , data resource and internet resource then integrate to an environment which suit to the personal use during the internet environment. The intention is to deliver the right information to the right person in the right time through the appropriate pipeline. So the hypostasis of EIP is integration of the resource in and out the enterprise, providing the integrative services for their employee, clients and collaborators, contacting the clients, the providers, the bargainers in the expeditious way, organizing the manufacture and distribution in the high efficiency way, and then can help the enterprise seeking more business chances and closer cooperation, optimizing the management of supply chain, so at present, it becomes one of the significant evolutive stratagem to establish the EIP.Jetspeed is an open source project of Apache Organization, and the WebSphere Portal Server of IBM is secondary developed base on Jetspeed. In satisfying the requirement of custom-building portal, they import the portal groupware conception of Portlet, Portlet is a flexible groupware. Jetspeed mainly use the technology of Java and XML etc. The target of Jetspeed is to define some normative API and we can write an adiaphorous Portal using these API which can have function during any frame that supporting these API. Consumers can use the browser, the handset which supporting the WAP protocol or any other equipments to visit the information portal builded by Jetspeed and obtain the information. Jetspeed plays the role of information centralization, it can centralizes the information and provides to the consumers easily. The data representation of Jetspeed is independent of the content type, it is to say that the content which comes form XML, RSS(Rich Site Summary) or SMTP can be centralized with Jetspeed. Jetspeed supports the moduling boards and content promulgating frame as Cocoon, WebMarco and Velocity etc.First, this article detailedly analyses the conception and current situation of the portal, expatiating the system frame of portal and some kinds of standards, then it analyses some prevalent designing implements of the presentation layer and thePersistence Layer and introduces the key technique of Jetspeed2. Then it brings forward a target of constructing the EIP in the frame of Struts+Spring+Hibernate and based on Jetspeed2, constituting the frame system of the EIP with the actual application of some port enterprise and detailedly expatiates the constitution of port EIP with Jetspeed2 during this frame work.
