Study Of Pulse Radar Signal Simulator

The signal simulator of radar object is a new kind of radar equipment,that could simulate all sorts of radar signals and radar environment.It also be used to examining radar performance and training human operators. Along with the fast development and broad application on radar of computer technique ,Bus technique ,the integrated circuit technique,The modern radar technique is also developing。is a new radar equipment fit for such developing。In this paper, angle measurement and distance measurement theory and character of radar object is analysed based on the theory and character of pulse radar.The important modules is studied,such as Object track database,Object echo signal,Same frequency interference signal, Interference,Environment clutter ,surface features clutter,Noise signal, Real-time signal output,etc.Moreover,the key problem,echo signal delay and multi-object signal product being resolved. The structure and main function of signal simulator be introduced with the design example of pulse radar signal simulator. The pulse radar signal simulator is programmable,designed based on measurement characters of pulse radar and experiment of measurement tasks,Adopt computer control technique and digital circuit technique.It could be used to simulate environment of radar and multi-object echo signals that flying with all kind of orbit. It is powerful to simulating, simple operate, convenient expanded, convenient interface,economically and so on.It was applied successfully to 154,172, LM-313 radar.
