Mobile phone is originally individual communications. As time goes by, people begin to pay more attention to its communication value. This article analyses mobile media from its communication value, introducing its concept, researching why doesn't mobile phone belong to mass media in recent years. Compared with the four medias, what advantages and defects mobile media has. Moreover, the article studies the devastating speed of mobile phone through the Colombia Helicopter Crash and the Iraq War. It also summarizes the turbulence and lesson that mobile media brings in SARS period. Finally the article predicts the future of the new medium, accepting the rapid development of mobile media. But it points out, if mobile phone wants to be mass media, the process is not easy.
