Design And Implementation Of The Video Surveillance System Based On Wireless Network

With the rapid development of computer network and communication technology and multimedia technology, traditional surveillance systems have greatly developed towards a new developing direction these years. Multimedia Numeric Video Surveillance System then appears, which is a combination of corresponding technology mentioned above. As digital video surveillance system has many advantage that traditional analogy video surveillance system can't match and accord with the information word development direction that is digital, internet and intellectual, digital video surveillance system begin to supply gradually analogy video surveillance system and has been widely applied to various field.Meanwhile, with increasing development of wireless network, the application of many field have got great improvement and progress. China wireless network communication is just in a dramatically developing stage, that is, the 2.5 generation wireless technology GPRS data service was fully launched through out the whole nation by China Mobile in the year of 2002 and the three generation wireless technology CDMA 1X was introduced to us by China Unicom in 2003. In this dissertation, a remote wireless surveillance system is introduced briefly and great emphasis of this article is put on design and implementation of surveillance software platform.Based on CDMA 1X wireless network of China Unicom and the research of computer network technology, communication technology and multimedia technology, a good and convenient Numeric video surveillance system (NVSS) is proposed in this paper. This thesis expatiates the relative theories of NVSS such as motion video capture, data compression and real-time transport protocol. Then the network and software models of NVSS are presented. According to the clue of system frame, this paper puts the emphases on methods of image data compressing, CDMA network and the implementing of video capture terminal. In the end, it presents improvement methods of the system to realize and extend its functions in the future.
