The application of some new fault diagnosis methods was introduced in this paper and the feasibility of them was validated by experimentation, At the same time, Aim at different characteristic of different rotating machines, the distributed vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis systems that were applied to fan were developed, The major contents of the paper were as follows:1. We design a system to monitor and deal with the vibration of rotating machines, which is based on the 16 bits mcu Unsp061A of Sunplus and the USB chip PDIUSBD12 of Philips ,It has eight channels to collect vibration signals.. The paper introduces the software system and hardware system of the equipment..2 We design a program analysis the vibration signal of the rotating machines by Lab VIEW, It includes the methods of filtering the signal and add-window to signal. The program can analysis the signals in the amplitude domain frequent domain and time domain.3 The application of some new fault diagnosis methods was studied, The diagnosis methods of net of nerve was researched.. The fractal geometry feature of vibration signal under deferent failure conditions is studied also and the fractal dimensions of different failures are calculated accordingly. We design a BP network of nerve by Matlab and distill the coefficient and threshold of the network, which were programmed by the LabVIEW to analysis the vibration signals..4 The vibration monitoring system of fan was developed. The system was separated from other systems, All the hardware and software were developed over again, We design a database of vibration signals by Access, The data of vibration was transmitted an display on local area network by Acticex and B/S,We make the fault signal from the signal generator to measure the system that we design , It indicates that the system can reflect the state of the machine, It operates steadily reliably and practically ,We can see the result on the line ,It has a lot of practical worth.
