A mathematical model on the technology of resonant demodulation is put forward in this paper, The model provides the theoretical basis on how to use the technology to extract the weensy impulse signal. The traditional hardware realized technology of resonant demodulation is realized through software technology. It has the same effect as the traditional hardware realized technology. The basic theory of wavelet is introduced . Multi- resolution analysis is introduced too, the wavelet decomposition method and the wavelet package method are induced based on Multi- resolution analysis. The application is also explained. Faults of Rolling Element Bearings are analyzed by the discrete wavelet and Hilbert transform. Pulses are extracted effectively and the two analysis results is consistent. Faults can be found accurately. Expert system designed according to features of faults is used to extract and analyze the faults. It provides the new method to monitor the equipment and diagnose the faults automatically.This paper introduces the process of the design of the diagnose system based on the virtual instrument technology. The design of some feature modules is introduced. What's more, the denoise feature, the resonant demodulation and wavelet analysis modules used to extract impulse information are emphasized. The operation of the system is also introduced. For lots of methods based on the virtual instrument technology is provided, its reliability is enhanced.
