For the 21st century information users and the information managers, the problem is thatthe information is too much but not few. Therefore, it is the research hotspot that how todescribe, organize and query the information effectively to raise the information use factor.The text analyzed the internet information characteristic and elaborated the content of theinternet information management. As the second generation of the internet markup language,XML has broad application space in the internet information management.The internet information description is the foundation of the information use. A set ofgeneral description standards are necessary. RDF is the information resource descriptionframe based on the XML. It can use the advantage of each kind of the metadata and carry ondata exchange and recycle based on the Web.The internet information organization is the foundation of the effective informationinquiry. The database is the best way to organize the network information. The transformationof the XML and the database is the hotspot at present study.The internet information inquiry is the goal of the internet information management. Theresult of the internet information inquiry is the target to appraise the internet informationmanagement system. It still is the magnanimous inquiry though we have good descriptionsand good organization patter for the internet information grows quickly. XQuery wasproposed officially to realize the effective information inquiry.The text researches the application of RDF, XML database, XQuery in the internetinformation description, organization and inquiry.
