Laser power supply acting as the electrical pump source that produces laser energy is the important factor that decides the laser overall performance whether certain laser technical index realization or not directly depends on the quality of laser power supply.The paper introduce researched background, the direction and the primary content of the topic, simply expatiate on shortcomings of hard switching and the development of soft switching, select one kinds of the main circuit topology that can realize the soft switching, introduce detailedly the twelve processes in a cycle of phase-shifted Full-Bridge soft switching DC/DC converter. The paper introduce the reason of the switching power supply' s low power factor and the harm caused by low power factor. Analyze power factor control technique and design power factor control circuit with MC34262. Has given the concrete parameter design process. Have carried on the detailed parameter design to the phase-shifted Full-Bridge soft switching power supply main circuit and the control circuit.According to the topic request we designed pulse laser pump power supply with highest output voltage 1000V, switching frequency 100kHz, the power 2000W. The power source has many advantages such as slightly volume, light weight, high efficiency, high power factor, good reliability, the strong ability of interference and so on. Finally we carried on the correlative experiment, has analyzed the experiment data and present plan which proposed to later further work with forecast.
