With the development of era, the traditional electroplating power supply can’t meet therequirements. High-frequency switching power supply, which has many significant advantag-es, is widely used in electroplating power supply. But the high-frequency switching powersupply mainly adopts hard switching conversion mode. In modern society, environmentalprotection, energy saving and electromagnetic interference become more and more important.Therefore,the hard switching mode has been difficult to meet the requirements. Thus,developing the soft-switching technology and using it to research high frequencyelectroplating power supply is inevitable in the development of electroplating process.First this paper introduces the development process and trend of electroplating powersupply. Thus raises the high-frequency soft-switching power supply. And then, through theanalysis,we proposed the scheme of the main circuit and analyze the working principle ofmain circuit, hardware and software design. In terms of working principle of the main circuit,on the basis of predecessors, through the analysis, we proposed a method that using20μHlinear inductance instead of the big saturation inductance. And then,through the simulation,weanalyze the realization way and working principle of the ZVS of the main circuit. Thismethod also implemented ZVS of the lagging arm in full load range, and greatly reduced theinductance volume and the cost. In terms of hardware design of the power, we completed thehardware design of the main circuit and control circuit. In the aspect of system software, wecompleted software system, basiced on TMS320F2812chip and TDS510emulator.Finally, on the basis of simulation, a plating power supply prototype is made.And with itthe related test have been accomplished.Experimental results show that the output waveformand the simulation results are consistent.The power is stable and it’s output waveform isgood.And soft-switching effect is obvious.All of the result meet the design requirements.
