The Study Of Unified Messaging Based On JMS Technology And XML Technology

Unified Messaging Service (UMS) is a technology mixing every information service, such as telephone network, seeking network and mobile network together. At present, some manufacturer of software or hardware have produced UMS, but these only carry out parts of service or a certain layer function of the UMS, they're not whole service of UMS, yet. On the other hand most of the services have mail server as their central message server, but the SMTP that mail server is using doesn't have authentication function, i.e. any client that using SMTP can send messages by the hardcore of the UMS. This is a serious security question.For the reasons above, we introduce a scheme that uses asynchronous exchanging data of Java Message Service (JMS) and XML technology in parsing and transmitting Unified Messaging (UM) . Consequently, there will be a whole UMS solved. In this scheme, any messages are translated into and stored as a unified format. Modules in the core communicate with each other using standard SOAP message format and a special one is being used between core and each service agent.This paper is completed in Beijing Orient-Micronet Information Technology Co., Ltd. According to hierarchy, the UMS contains core layer, agent layer, service layer and operation layer. The main work of this paper is the design and the implement of core layer in UMS. The design includes modules such as message designer, message parser, message router and message sender etc. In the final, there introduce some other design and implement of agent layer modules.
