The Design And Implementation Of Converged Communication Systems And Business

With the rapid development of broadband access and next generation network techonology, communication demand of users is developing from voice-based means to the direction of convergence of instant messaging, voice, video, conference, collaboration and other means of communications. Converged communications put computer networks and traditional communications networks into one integrated network platform through the integration of IT information technology and traditional communications services and application. It can make full use of the advantages of telecommunication network and Internet to integrate a number of applications to achieve the new mode of communications. Converged communication has become the industry's focus of attention due to the ability to provide users with value-added services and multimedia communications of voice,data and video without constraints of time and space.Software client for converged communications is a subset of service capability. It is the development and implementation of part of the functions and applications of conveged communications.In the first part, the background and significance of the paper, the definition,the development and the importance of converged communication are introduced. The second chapter describes the operational framework and business types for converged communications and gives a general description of the software client system. Then in the third, fourth and fifth chapters,the system's overall structure, the design and implementation of related functional module are introduced in details. The following sixth chapter briefly introduces the testing work of the System.Finally, the author makes a summary of the research and development on software client, paper writing and the degree planning made during the school. Some suggestion on the next phase of development work is given.
