With the booming development of control technology, computer technology, communication technology, and network technology, traditional industrial control system is developing toward network and opening direction. As fieldbus of various kinds came to a deadlock, Ethernet Network, with its advantages of openness, effective communication, rich resources of software and hardware, sustainable potential of development, emerges in Control Layer and Device Layer of the control system, directing the development of industrial control network toward Industrial Ethernet Network.This thesis of "Research and Application of Monitoring System on Sewage Treatment Based on Industrial Ethernet Network" starts from the key technology of Industrial Ethernet Network, researched the following issues: the proper transportation uncertainty of traditional Ethernet Network; power supply of field facilities; devices of traditional Ethernet Network's poor mutual maneuverability; intrinsic safety and remote control, etc. and devoted specially to the discussion and analysis of issues as how to improve real-time and safety properties of communication response, as well as how to transmit remotely, etc. It proposed to apply the exchanged full duplex Ethernet Network technology to deal with the real-time problem and uncertainty in communication, and expand the bandwidth of the exchange of Industrial Ethernet Network; power the fieldbus by connecting the idle cables and supplying field devices with working power; use Low-Power technology and EX i Explosion-proof technology to solve the safety problem of field devices, and bring out an ideal solution of Industrial Ethernet Network; It designed an Industrial Ethernet Network structure based on layer structure according to the network system requirement in industrial control domain and in reference of designing principles and methods of Ethernet Network, targeting at building a safe, steady, mutually-maneuverable communication platform in industrial control system; meanwhile, it also designed a remote monitoring system for urban sewage treatment on the basis of Modbus/TCP Industrial Ethernet Network according to above guidelines and principles.As to the configuration of the remote monitoring system for urban sewage treatment, this thesis chose Kingview6.51---configuration software by Beijing Asiacontrol Technology Corporation. This thesis chose Kingview6.51 in the course of remote monitoring system for urban sewage treatment .In order to reduce investment outlay and reduce the cost, this system adopted redundancy measures for protecting the system. Currently, this has begun to be used in a certain city in urban sewage treatment system, and proven clean drainage and a premise of sustainable development concerning citizens' living and social production, and better economic profit and social benefit.
