The background of computer supported collaborative work (CSCW) is based on people's mass-work, researching the communication and resource sharing among work team with internet instead of traditional communication in distributed zones. The Network Collaborative Design is one of the most important research field in the Computer Supported Collaborative Work, and is also a key technique to realize the virtual enterprises that make use of the manufacturing resources (manufacturing equipments, the knowledge and technique of the designer and database etc)which are distributed in the world.The technology of message service and the message oriented middleware is a effective technical means to resolve the information change and the data change between the different department based on the network conditions. A platform for information issuance is established which is based on the existing Java Message Service (JMS) Message Oriented Middleware (MOM), and with the platform the message can be send and received between one point and another point. It can realize asynchronous subscription and issuance which is based on topic, and offer a dependable and universal method for the message establishing, sending, receiving and reading in the distributed enterprise application system.The thesis introduces the technology require and resolving means of information issuance platform which is established based on the JMS, and explain the interrelated knowledge of the ulterior resolve which the thesis is adopt. Then systemic analysis and design the information issuance platform based on the JMS is finished and the realize method for the collaborative design system message services which is based on the JMS is concluded.Concretely, the thesis expatiate on the conception, current application status and research field of collaborative design, and introduce the technology background of research and development. Then the mold of the JMS system frame is established and the thesis expatiates on the establishment of message service platform of collaborative design based on JMS technology by detailed explaining the JMS application structure, manage object, JMS message molding, pattern of messagesending and stand JMS interface. What is more, based on the application requirement of collaborative design, the thesis expatiates on the design idea on JMS system management by the JMS application server tools, the JMS server integration and the J2EE(Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition) application. The design of communication data structures between clients and providers is presented. The design of connection pool, persistent message delivery, durable subscription, transactional delivery and concurrent sessions are also discussed in the thesis. Development technology based on Message Services is concretely expatiated. The collaborative design model which has used the JMS message services system is designed according to concrete application of machine design is given in the later part of the thesis. At last, the method to exchange information and data in collaborative work by utilizing JMS technology is explained, and its merit is also mentioned.
