Agent Technology In Collaborative Design

This thesis integrates the development of the multi-agent collaborative design platform and focuses on the detailed research on the relevant technology of Agent in the system.Firstly, a multi-agent based collaborative design platform is proposed in the thesis, which is WEB based BIS structure and realizes the collaborative view, collaborative query, collaborative annotation and phonetic communication and so on with the Agent as the middle agent in the process of product design.Secondly, for the agent communication of the system, the communication message primitives are defined through classifying and they are described in XML, therefore a set of communication message protocols used for the collaborative design system are created.Thirdly, according to the function demand of agent in the system, the several agents of the system are designed and realized, in addition, on the basis of the external XML mapping file, the access database for server agent is built.Lastly, the system uses the agent software JATLite of Stanford University as the template, and under the environment of JBuilder6 the some agents in Java are developed.
