At present, there are some questions such as several kinds of NC system in using, online programming, integrated control, not to realize connection directly between shop floor and enterprise management information system among the digital equipments of manufacture enterprise in China, which makes the waste of field information. The development of manufacturing enterprises information-based needs production data of field as necessary and basic information sources. Therefore, it is currently facing many manufacturing key technological problems and the urgent need for practical production that how to realize integrated control of the digital equipments of shop floor, integrated play and use their strengths. It will be a trends of industrial automation that using Industrial Ethernet to connect the digital equipments and achieve "E Network to Plant".This thesis has analyzed the advantages of applying Industrial Ethernet in field equipment layer, the communication interface of digital equipment in workshop and the technical characteristics of networking them. On the basis of comparing several common industrial Ethernet protocols, aiming at the control features of digital equipments in middle or small enterprises, this dissertation chooses EPA protocol as a platform for network control system, presents the structure and the system functions of factory digital equipments centralized control system based on Industrial Ethernet. In order to solve the communication problem between serial interface of digital equipments and Industrial Ethernet, the dissertation has designed the communication interface by analysis of their communication protocols aiming at special digital equipments. The embedded real time OS μC/OS-Ⅱ and TCP/IP protocol are ported on the LPC2200 of PHILIP chips based on ARM core, then the program of protocol translation and communication test are developed. At last this dissertation has analyzed the factors of affecting performance of embedded system and the probability of periodic and non-periodic information in factories. According to the designed communication interface, an experiment platform is constructed, the basic functions of it is validated.
