With the fast development of IT technology, micro-electric technology and information network technology, smartcard has been widely used in finance, telecom, and commerce field and so on because of smartcard's little bulk, light weight durability and large storage ability. There has been automatic processing and testing line of smartcard production, but no uniform standard of smartcard printing quality and quality effecting factors. Related factories are producing smartcards mainly by experience, thus resulting in unsteady quality. Therefore, it becomes important and necessary to research on the digitalization and standardization of smartcard producing procedure so as to improve the efficiency and cost effect.This paper utilizes the smartcard producing line in ShaanXi No. 1 Printing Factory, and printing quality control elements including color bars are designed. After one-by-one analysis over each producing unit and large quantity of experiments, a complete production flow and corresponding parameters are made, and realizes the standardization management of smartcard production. The influence of layer-press temperature,time, and pressure is particularly studied and final standard data is deduced.The result of this paper can be directly applied into the producing procedure, and is hoped to fill in the blank in the field of smartcard printing since there has yet been no systematic research on such aspect.
