Super security, mobility and portability are the development trends of smartcard. The functions of the current smartcard are restricted by its hardware structure, merely satisfying basic requirements. The new smartcard has master and slave two processors, which is based on master-slave processors architecture, and has a powerful processing ability. It also could be remotely accessed via networks because its networks interface, which enhance its mobility and portability.The Smartcard Hardware Simulating System (SHSS) is a smartcard hardware simulating flat which is based on master-slave processors architecture. SHSS has high performance processors, high storage capability memory and several kinds of interfaces. The interfaces include RS-232 serial interface, I2C bus interface and Ethernet interface. The communication bridge between the master and slave processors is Dual-Port RAM, which has many advantages, such as high accessing speed, hardware designing easily and controlling conveniently. The flash memory AT29C040 has 4M bits storage capability,its accessing method is three storage structure "Logical Segment - Physical Segment - Page".Different smart IC card has different characters of physical storage structure and data storage structure, IC card data storage model could present IC card internal storage structure. It has two level contents, which are the data storage model of the single IC card and the uniform data store model of any IC card. The former presents the several IC cards of one kind and the latter presents any IC cards. The constructions of uniform data storage model makes good sence of research on IC card storage distributing mechanism and simulating operations of IC card.The chip operating system (COS) of traditional smartcard is storaged in the ROM which can't be modified in the card life, this insures security and integrity of smartcard data. But the application on smartcard is single, and the hardware resource is deficient, so these restrict the functions of smartcard. UCard is a new kind smartcard, it realizes the functions of many kinds of different smartcards on a single card, which is produced with new software and hardware technologies. The UCard Scheduling Program (USP) charges COS management and storage space distributing, and the latter is the emphasis task of USP. Static distributing and dynamic distributing are the two method of COS storage space distributing.
