Pipeline leakage detection is a multi-field object, which involved many subjects, such as pipeline hydrodynamics, thermodynamics, sensor technology, subtle signal detection and signal processing. The paper introduces the current development conditions of pipeline transportation firstly. The paper applies the pressure-flow distinguishing method into the pipeline leak detection, and through using the method of detecting the time of pressure fall.Analysis is done on the change rules of liquid's temperature along with the pipeline's distance .The paper points out the defects of the const pressure wave velocity method and do some improvements on it, rebuilding the expressions of the pressure wave velocity in accordance with the Simpson's rule. Combining with the time difference value of the pressure wave getting to both ends of the pipeline, adopts the Genetic Arithmetic to search the leak site of the pipeline. Correlation Analysis and Wavelet Transform, discussion covers the essential ideas of these methods and their computer realization. Here we mainly choose the MATLAB software to analyze all the data. This powerful software can be used to reduce the noise in the signals and gather the characteristic signal among them. Here we use a kind of common filtration method, such as the wavelet analysis law. And in order to locate accurately, uses GPS to unify the system time between data collecting systems in two ends. Finally, the dissertation brings forward the collectivity project of the negative pressure wave leak detecting system based on data transfer of wireless spread, spectrum network. The paper designs a station-independent leak supervising for crude oil concentrated transport pipeline and distributed master-slave leak real-time supervising system for long distance transport pipeline are designed with virtual instruments technology, and designs the hardware and software scheme.
