Along with continuous development of technology,more and more requirements about measuring technique have been brought up in producing and testing .the Automatic Test Systems based on various testing bus have been applied in many domains of measurement and test.The testing system which is convenient,flexible,and with complete function has become the necessity of production and scientific research.And in military domain,testing system for military purpose has already been the important part of weapon system,measuring technique and testing system is the essential way of identifying quality of war industry products and the guarantee by which weapon system takes effect,and it is of great importance in proving equipment level and ability for battle. This thesis discusses the phylogeny and application of bus-based testing system.The Automatic Test System based on PXI bus are applied more and more widely in various test fields for its advantages such as compact mechanical structure,flexible configuration of modules,lower investment and better performance of data transition.The research of self-designed PXI bus interface is of great importance in building self-determined bus-based test system. Then,this thesis describes the structure of the test system based on PXI bus.On the basis of study of the PXI bus specification,it brings forward a common design scheme of PXI bus interface and the circuit implement.According to the requirements of PXI software specification,a method of developing the drivers and soft panels of PXI instrument module is presented. Finally,a virtual testing system of radar based on PXI was designed by using the design scheme mentioned above.the module of power testing and alarming was designed so as to protect the radar. Especially the basic structure,principle of the software and hardware circuit about the module was studied in detail.A measurement and control software and a flow diagram of the module of power testing and alarming were designed used LabVIEW.All the performance meets the design demand by testing. Applying the latest testing technique to testing system for military purpose,Acquiring expectant effect in developing module and empoldering software platform,all that will give an important push to the studying and developing of the testing system for military purpose.
