Bus Structure is used extensively in digital systems for its module-based design method and simplicity of system design and update. But Bus Structure needs many signal wires, which leads to more complex systems. This problem can be sovled by adopting the digital multiplexing technology, which combines several signal wires into one.In the dissertation, the digital multiplex is discussed aiming at the scheme of Computer Bus or other Industrial Bus. These basic notions of digital multiplex are deeply discussed, Bus is introduced and a method of Bus digital multiplex, by the way of FPGA, is expatiated detailed connected with PCI Bus. At last, an example of the serial interface of PCI Bus is tested. The serial interface is completed in simpleness, low frequency and steady performance which combines the signal of computer interface for the Magnetic Environment Simulation System, adopts the circuit architecture of "the expert chip S5920 of the PCI bus interface + FPGA ", uses the idea of digital multiplex discussed above and keeps the top of control software interrupt. Not only a material design of the serial interface but also a applied plan of the interface hardware circuit are presented in the paper. The serial interface designed has debugged with receiving end successfully and realized expectant functions.
