The Design And Implementation Of Distributed Workflow Engine Based On Spring

Workflow engine is the technical core of the workflow management. The business management system with a workflow engine supporting platform has a high degree of flexibility.It can be fast and flexible to generate application software systems in accordance with the specific needs of enterprises. When the enterprise business processes changes, it can also quickly meet the customer demand by the reorganization.This paper describes the Spring framework, workflow management technology and Web Service technology.Through the study of the workflow engine and the related theories, it gives the workflow pattern such as order, parallel, branch, synchronization, choice, aggregation, circulation and the trigger mechanism of activities such as manual, automatic, message ,time . It proposes the distributed workflow engine model based on the Spring framework and with the interface standard of Web Service and analyses the various parts of the model. It proposes the realization project of the key problems such as the type model, business logic layer , data persistence layer and interface realization and also deeply studies the realization pattern .It proposes the realization of the XPDL analytical components, workflow instance dispatch center and mission instance control centre.Finaly this paper presents the development environment of the workflow management system and the realization framework, elaborates the realizations of each part of the system, including new processes, creating workflow templates, instantiation of the workflow, process management and control of the process and so on.
