A Study And Design Of The Scientific Research Project Management System Based On MDA

Object Management Group (OMG) released a brand-new software development framework --Model Driven Architecture (MDA). Models are the core in the MDA development method. MDA provides a preferable solution for the efficient implementation of system integration and interoperability, business logic with rapid changes and shorten development cycle.The purpose of this article is research and pratices in the field of scientific projects management based on MDA. There are numerous deficiencies in the scientific projects management system which is development by the traditional approaches. The core business logic is relatively stable, but when the system need to upgrade to a new platform for due to some technical reasons or other circumstances, the business logic must be re-designs in the new platform, resulted a secondary development; Moreover, in the traditional development desing models can not be map to the code leads to inconsistent of code and design documents and we must pay a high price when the system need to maintain.The core idea of MDA method is separating business analysis and business implementation, transfers the attention of software engineers to the business domain and modeling. The inconsistencies of documentation and code will not exist in the MDA method, the results of each time system changes will be re-transfer from PIM to PSM then to code, ensure the synchronization of design document and code, and the maintainability of system.This paper focuses on the MDA development approach combine with the practice of demand, take the acceptance management as an example, refinery the domain models of projects management, modeling PIM, with Model-driven, generation the final system code to achieve application. The experience of MDA development in practice can provide a valuable business model and a reusable PIM. The result has proved the feasibility of MDA development in the field of scientific projects management and the grate benefit to accelerate system development, improve the efficiency, maintainability and portability.
