Research On Domain Modeling Of Management Information System Based On Model Driven Architecture

Traditional software development process is driven by preliminary design and coding, which has a lot of repetitive development. Increasingly complex system structure,frequently change of the requirement, the poor reusability and interoperability which is caused by the incompatibility between different software platform,all of these problem make the traditional software development no longer meet the society's needs of software. To solve the problem above, this thesis introduces the Model Driven Architecture and uses the J2EE as implementation platform to do the research of how to achieve rapidly software development in Management Information System field.We take the Management Information System as the research direction, by learning from the concept of traditional MDA, to give a software development framework which is based on domain model of MDA. By extending the UML Profile and then extract the core business features, we create the Meta model of MIS field. A suit mapping rules based on the QVT specification is defined by the author. Then the thesis explains how to apply the framework proposed in this paper to develop software, generate program code automatically and slove the difficulties of maintenance caused by requirement changes and business changes etc, with the support of the Eclipse Modeling Frame and Modeling Transform Framework.Finally,to validate the feasibility and scalability proposed by this thesis, the author develops the project named Master Information Management System of Beijing Forestry University.
