Computer imitation tech took computer as tool, based on similitude principle, communication tech and some kinds of related basic theory. Besed on the aim of system testing, creat (practical or visual) system model, and this model can be active running under different conditions, we call this kind of synthetical tech as Computer imitation. Computer imitation tech integrates most kinds of lastest modern top end means in scientific technical region, infinitely enlarged human being's eyeshot, time limit and ability, contributing big for scientific tech region. Currently, Computer imitation tech works as the analysis, investigation, testing, evaluation, manufacture and ability training tools for system, especially for super system, and be applied in all regions of national defense, manufacture, energy, traffic, agriculture, medical treatment, education, economy and weather forecast extensively.The people who work in computer science try their best to improve the reproductive ability of software development. Great changes have taken place by many new methods such as 00, CBD, and Distribute compute. MDA will have great contribution in this area.This paper will discuss how to get the model motivated software in to the practice of distribution system simulation software, in order to improve the reproductive ability, to enlarge the use of this software, to improve the efficiency and to cut the cost of software development.The fist part of this paper carefully illustrates the theory of system simulation and model driven architecture. The definition, advantages of the system simulation are well applied, as well as the basic steps. And also the process of MDA development, the definition, classification and alternation of the models are well described. Finally, we get the constituents of the MDA framework, and the functions as well. The second part illustrates the designing and realizing of the simulation system, which is based on the model driven architecture in this paper, the models used in the model motivated simulation system are divided into three types: Equipment Model, Cognitive Model, and Message Model. The forming processes and the interaction of these three models are well illustrated. According to its function, the simulation system is divided into four functions: scenario, simulation run , war circumstance and evaluating . From the perspectives of time-governing, information-governing, information interaction and war circumstance , the realization of the model motivated simulation system is well described.The third part of this paper illustrates the application of simulation activity, based on the model motivated simulation system, the focus is on the relationship and the interaction between the model motivated simulation system and the HLA.
