Ink-jet printing technology today presents high-speed, stability, user-friendly and intelligent operation trends, but domestic ink-jet printer is mainly constituted by a microcontroller and other low-speed controller,which can not satisfy the demand of product line and society. View of the embedded system in real time feature and automatic control, this paper researched and developed a product line ink-jet printing control system based on embedded system.This paper analyzed the product line ink-jet printing control system, made the overall design of the control system plan, carried out on the embedded operating system selection, and proposed software architecture of product line printing control system based on embedded Linux operating system.Then, key technologies of product line ink-jet printing control system were studied. These technologies include extended serial communication command protocols and Dual-port RAM data access.After the analysis of these key technologies, the hardware's design and implementation of product line ink-jet printing control system is showed, followed by the software's design and implementation of the product line ink-jet printing control system, including low-level drivers and the upper procedure.Finally, in order to confirm the feasibility and prototype of the product line ink-jet printing control system, function test of the prototype system's main modules are carried out with expected results.
