Optoelectronic Real Time Image Recognition and Target Tracking technology has been widely used in military and national economy. As key apparatus of this technology—the Image-Tracker, it's function and performance parameters are the guarantee of the Image-Tracker system.The Image-Tracker in this thesis is composed of precondition board, management board and algorithm board, which can process and extract TV and infrared video information of day and night investigation. The core part of testing system is Special Debugging Platform (SDP) .The SDP is the hardware structure of the testing system. The main roles of the SDP are fixing three function-boards of Image-Tracker, providing signal interconnection and preparing input and output signal interfaces of the testing system. The SDP also provides hardware interfaces between Image-tracker and video generator, industrial computer and video monitor.In this paper, analog video signal switching technique and differential signal transform technique were researched. Serial Communication between PC and DSP was introduced. DSP-Information TransformTechnique based on Dual-Port RAM and Serial Communication based on 8251 was studied and designed.The program for TMS320C32 was written based on CCS-Studio. The logic of CPLD was designed based on Quartus II. Finally, the hardware platform of Image-Tacker function and performance parameters testing system was designed and built. Above work play important roles in the realization of the project.
