Patent is used to express the scientific innovation quickly and roundly,andconsidered as a kind of information sources that has meaning to the business decision,SO the researches about patent information retrieval and patent information analysishave be pay more attention to all over the world with the purpose of getting thevaluable knowledge from the mass data,identifying technical status,technical field,technology development and technical opportun~y of a corporationUp till the present moment w-e can provide the services of pateut classification,retrieval,management and statistics in analyzing pateut,but many problems still exist,for example,low-merging of multiple data resources,defective data preprocessing,rough matching between the indicators and tools,less multivaadate analysis,poorinformation shaadng during the enterprises In addition,the tools of pateut analysisalso can not fill the requkemeut of such commercial objectivesIn view-of these problems,the paper introduces effects the architecture of pateutinformation ntegration and analysis based on BI Firstly,taking the features of datasources and the existing methods of pateut analysis,w-e build KPI subject-orienteddata warehouse Before loading the pateut data of local database into the datawarehouse,w-e should clean and tramsform the data in order to clear,standardize andaggregate all types of pateut data,and provide high--quality data for decision--makingbased on analysis of data warehouse With the analysis topics,w-e build the data martsbased on the pateut data warehouse,and make the OLAP and data mining of patent,finally the analysis results axe represented drawing pateut graphs with the tooltechnologies in the front-endsMajor contributions ofthe paper are follows:Firstly,the technology architectureofbusiness intelligence based on data warehouse is used for the pateut integration andanalysis Secondly,w-e design the ETL rule for dimension tables and fact tables,usingthe tool of SQL Server 2005 integration services,and run the ETL program to load thepatent data from kinds of local data resources into the data warehouse Thkdl~according to the KPI,the marts are built for the OLAP,the operations includingdrill-up,drill-down,slice,dice,and pivot are performed,aiming at discovery ofpreviously unknown and potentially useful pattern or knowledge,and the results arepresented in patent map through the Add-Ins of Excel 2007...
