Nowadays, there are various vendor network transmission equipments and network management software systems running in the net of each telecommunication service provider. But the network management environment of the providers are isolated each other, it's hard to realize the mass supervision and manegement uniformly, and harder to realize resourse attempering and managing function. So it's a necessary for every element management system(Element Management System, which is briefly called EMS) of the vendor to open its interface to build a transmission network integrated network management system.Adopting C/S three-tier software architecture, basing on RMI(Remote Method Invocation) technology, choosing Oracle database, using TopLink as the tool of O-R mapping, aiming at alarm problems in transmission network, this paper advances a suite of comprehensive and one-up resolvent. Basing on the dealing of alarm in traditional way,this suit of resovement emphatically makes root alarm analysis through alarm rules, it's more advanced than other transmission network system.This system realizes the alarm collect function by connecting with EMS and getting alarm data. it realizes the alarm process function by a series of manipulating just as alarm locating, alarm mapping, alarm acknowledging and alarm clearing. Basing on alarm rules, it also realizes the analysis of root alarm and ensures the origin of the alarm through the ceaselessly combining. At the same time, to solve the performance problems the system encoutered, it applies Least Recently Used Algorithm (Least Recently Used, which is briefly called LRU) into cache technology. This system realizes LRU cache and improves the system performance greatly.Transmission network integrated network management system which is completed in this thesis can achieve design objectives and requirements through function and performance testing. It has been applied in Chongqing Telecom and has achieved good results. At the same time as the good performance of the system and good profits bring to customers; later it will also be carried out in one company of Malaysia.
