The currently urgent problem to solve human survival and development is energy or environment. As a kind of renewable energy, wind energy is developed in all countries of the world. In every country, development priority is to change the wind energy into electric energy. While independently developing the wind power generators, our country has also come across a lot of key technology to need breakthroughs. In order to deeply understand operation characteristics or fault state of the wind power generators, we need to develop a kind of equipment condition monitoring technology to better monitoring equipment. At present, with the foreign research on the wind power generator, China had also further research on the wind power generator related fields of accelerating independent research and development. The wind generator vibration monitoring is one of the key technologies for monitoring. Main characteristics on the wind power generator vibration monitoring contain many monitoring nodes, a long time monitoring situation and complex monitoring situation. Traditional means of monitoring the wind power generator is difficult, intelligent network wiring. In view of this situation, this paper has designed ZigBee agreement on the wind power generator wireless monitoring network system. The monitoring system has the advantage of convenient network layout, large number of nodes, high reliability and remote control.Firstly, the vibration of large wind power generators is studied. The failure of the site and its mechanism are determined. Thus we further clarified measuring-point arrangement.Secondly, the structure of wireless sensor network, layered model and key technologies are studied. Due to limited layout or uneven distribution of wireless sensor node, self- organization network cannot be connected. Therefore, we put forward a kind of network layout method on relay nodes. We realized network connectivity in the condition of periodic existence. In view of using the method of data collection or data shunt, we reduce the relay node. Thereby we reduce the cost of the system.Then, through the comparison of several wireless communication technology, the wireless technology in the wind power generator condition monitoring is ZigBee technology. Its characteristic is low power consumption, network of self-organization, strong self-healing capability, reliable communication and low cost. Then Z- Stack protocol based on ZigBee2006 standard of the TI company was studied. Finally, In connection with the wind power generator condition monitoring network system in this paper, we have carried on the hardware and software design. In terms of hardware design, the three main modules (micro processor module, the data acquisition module, antenna module) are designed. In software design, the design of the software contains computer monitoring and the wind power generator monitoring network system based on ZigBee technology for three node (coordinator, routers, terminal). In the end, we did simulation experiments in the laboratory.
