Web Link And Web Traffic Analysis For Websites Of 211 University Libraries Based On Webmetrics

The emergence of the Internet changed the channels of information dissemination and the models of information communication.A large number of Internet information make a strong impact on infor- mation users.With Internet environment,using traditional bibliometric method to research the user's behavior and regulation has become impossible.The emergence of webometrics comply with the dev- elopement of the times.In order to get the research conclusion,we use the link analysis and traffic analysis of webometrics to analyse the websites of 211 university libraries.The whole structure of the thesis can be divided into four parts:The first part is to introduce the background of webometrics,the development of webometrics from home and abroad and the main content of the thesis;The second part can be divided into two parts-chapter two and chapter three,chapter two mainly introduces the theory of webometrics,chapter three mianly introduces the theory of link analysis and traffic analysis;The third part is chapter four,in this part,with the using of SPSS and SAS statical package,we can get the correlation between 211 universitiy and websites of 211 university libraries,also we can get the descriptive analysis of link analysis indicators and traffic analysis indicators about websites of 211 university libraries; The last part is part four,in this part,it mianly introduces the innovation and the shortage of the thesis.
