With the rapid development of aerospace technology, great progress has been made in radar technology. Radar technology is becoming to high-resolution, multi-level, multi-band and the radar information also will be increasing rapidly. The high capacity, high speed, low power consumption, high reliability and high flexibility are main contents and the pursuit of goals for the high-speed radar data storage technology. The paper dedicates to research and design a high-speed large-capacity solid-state data recorder which is based on NAND flash memory for the high-speed data storage in radar signal processing system in real-time.The thesis is funded by'hard recovery data recording system'. The target of this project is to study a device recording video signal and image data of missile radar system. High sampling rates and wide data bandwidth in radar signal acquisition could generate the high-speed mass data. In order to store the high-speed real-time radar signal sample data, the paper study the high-speed data communication interface module using LVDS and high-speed large-capacity storage module using Flash. In this paper, we analysed the current situation and the development trend of the research on solid-state recorder at home and abroad. The article proposed the overall design of the high-speed data recorder, and the recorder mainly composed by interface module and memory module. The interface module is designed for the communication with the ground test equipment, high-speed upload of data storage modules. The data storage module is made for high-speed input data storage. The whole module use FPGA being the control center. Under the deep understanging of the characteristics of flash memory chip, we adopt the two-plane page program operation and pipeline technique to improve the average input and output speed of recorder based on flash memory. The paper pointed out test process of the system. After extensive testing, the recorder can accord the mission requirements and achieve real-time storage of high-speed data. Finally, the article give the summary and outlook for the design process.
