The continuous development of information society is showing us more and more types of symbols in our communication activities. No matter how diverse their external manifestations are, the core of them always contains two basic elements——text and picture. In the past centuries, the text was in the absolute supremacy of symbols. But now, the visual media is increasing and becoming the main medium gradually. So, our understanding of the world is not only though words, but more by visual information. We can see different styles of architecture, dazzling department stores, wonderful performance stages and colorful theme parks in such a large city. What's more, scenes in the film and television and fantasy online world, which are manufacturing simulated images, can be seen everywhere in our daily life. This is one of the most important features in post-modern society, because it stimulates the person's nerve endings and let us feel that the line between real world and dream is getting increasingly blurred. At present, most of us access to information from the fast-food medium, appease the fickle heart through frequent consumption, release pressure by using simple entertainment and establish real contact with the outside world through network. Many ambivalent terms, such as globalization and localization, tradition and modernity, or virtual and reality, etc, collide and blend constantly so that everything is shrouded in the smoke of fragmentation. Venerable philosophy has reflected some limitations, therefore, so we need to learn calm and precipitation from reality, and to face changes in people's life by means of a new thinking.
