Late of 20th century,the appearance of digital media has continuously challenged and fulfilled the traditional visual communication model.The competition of visual communication becomes more and more seriously.It has become a common sense and era trend to survive,develop,and advance with innovation in the development of visual culture.The thesis analyzed the time background of visual innovation when it produced as a social phenomenon,and talked about its expressing form,essential meaning as visual signal and specific word model and grammar regulation.Creative thinking which is the main body of visual innovation has found its position in the big jointing environment of the national and world culture.Faced with computers and other new technologies in the visual communication industry's widespread use, papers re-examine the pros and cons of the new media and new technologies for the visual performance,the explore methods and means of the future visual communication and how to be more conducive to convey and receive the information.This paper pointed out that under the conditions of modern technology,there are a wide range of choices of visual communication methods and means:We can converse and convey the effects of visual communication through traditional prints,of course,we can also use the web,television media and interactive multimedia,etc.However,during today's visual communication means,every method has its own advantages,and also its own limits. They share some similarities in their ideology of design,but there are a lot of differences in the performance methods,technology of applying and the final communication effect with viewers.So how to use the appropriate methods and means to convey a better effect by visual communication in different requirements and backgrounds, how to create different visual experience from the past and the resulting useful meanings for social actual applying has become a new topic which is worth to explore.The paper pointed out that the future methods and means of visual communication will develop in the direction of interactive and extend from static to dynamic multimedia,because that was more conducive to send and receive information.How to choose a suitable and appropriate visual means of communication,it doesn't just simply depend on the advantage of high-tech and the vogue in time.It needs integrated various considers,and more often,it needs a variety of ways to use at the same time to get a better effect.This requires us to make continuously compare,study and rational applying under actual conditions and needs.
