In recent years, with the rapid development of entertainment news, the reports on celebrities who involved in immoral actions gradually become more and more. However, although the events like Dong Xie and Wenjun Man's druging, Degang Guo's fake advertisement and Jie Zhou's escaping of the incident have been reported by the mass media, the journalists only concerned about the entertainment while ignoring the social impact. Some reports even sloppy passing, caused celebrities to act without binding. By contrast, the Japanese media behave more seriously when they report the celebrities who involved in immoral actions. The rigorous approaches in reporting cause well construction restricting this kind of event happening again.This article wants to use social role theory, and by comparing the Chinese-Japanese media reported on celebrities'anomie to study the difference of the social role of two countries'media. Nowadays, the domestic journalism academic and theoretical circles has few research on the entertainment news reports for the celebrities who involved in immoral actions, while the study which uses social role theory is almost blank.Under this case, the study wants to select two events as the case, and select three newspaper of each country for the study. Through content analysis, text analysis, relevant the difference between the two countries reports and combining the three stages of social role, said that the role expectations, role awareness, the role practice to explore the difference between the social role of two countries'media. On that basis, the study wants to make some feasible suggestions to put forward Chinese relevant reports.By using the SPSS, the paper counted frequency and percentages of Chinese and Japanese six newspapers in the basic information, sources, information on the language type and other statistics. And at the same time the researcher analyzed the reporting features of two countries'media by using crosstab analysis method. Just based on this, we can get some characteristics about these dissertations.Finally, There are still many disadvantages on this research, such as the small scope, the low level of the study. I hope the latter researchers can make deeper and more detailed studies through the present study.
