The commercialization of TD-SCDMA in China is carrying out in full swing. As a part of the TD-SCDMA industry chain, TD-SCDMA terminal test set is getting more and more evolved, and has been applied in the UE design, production and certification.In the primilary operation phase of TD-SCDMA, the network coverage is not sufficient. Hence, for a long time, GSM and TD will co-exist, which requires that all terminals must support the two networks. As a result, testing instrument for dual mode terminals has come into being.In the tester's R&D process, the measurement algorithm module is an extremely important part. Measurement is used to test the key indicators of mobile phone, such as power, frequency, modulation accuracy, and error rate. Through mathematical calculation and analysis of the terminal signal, measurement can verify whether signals satisfy the requirement of protocols. With the process of theoretical research, algorithm design, coding and integrated debugging, the targets of the function enhancement of TD-SCDMA terminal RF conformance test and the key algorithm implementation of GSM&GPRS & EDGE terminal test are achieved. Besides, the work of the design and implementation of key measure algorithm of TD & GSM dual mode terminal conformance test system is accomplished.The main contents of this thesis are organized as following: Firstly, in the first chapter, the basic knowledge of TD-SCDMA and GSM wireless system is introduced, clarifying the research background, research objective and significance.Secondly, in the second chapter, through an overview of the terminal tester, system architecture and the fuction and the role of measure module are introduced.Thirdly, the third, fourth, fifth chapters are the main content of this thesis. In this three chapters, conformance test algorithms are presented with regard to power, frequency, and bit error in two modes. The requirements analysis, the technical difficulties, implementation process are presented to describe the details of GSM&TD key algorithms.Finally, this thesis gives a summary and a look to the future development of terminals tester. Instrument manufacturers will face new challenges.The content of this thesis has been successfully applied in the implementation of the tester, receiving good social response.
