As an important component of RF test instruments, RF front-end module has to achieve large dynamic range,high precision and other indicators,and also has to connect to baseband and master processer. Therefore,it is highly required of logic controller. On the other hand,the overall performance and cost of the RF test instruments are almost decided by the RF front-end module.Therefore,RF module with independent intellectual property rights will play an important role in improving social influence and market position of homebred RF test instrument.The author has participated in project of the High-Performance RF Model in Broadband Wireless Aecess Platform R&D,which is supported by the Electronic and Information Development Fund of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology,and been in charge of the locgic controller R&D. Logic controller provides overall control for Rf module, implemented connection between driver and Rf module with the PCI bus,which are based on FPGA. The author has accomplished the complete development processes of chip selection, seheme design,coding, simulation,commissioning,design optimization.The main contents of this thesis are organized as follows:Firstly,the developing background and the meaning of RF module is reviewed,and then general framework of control logic is introduced on analyzing the RF Universal Instrument.Secondly, design and implementation of each sub-module of control logic and system storage controller are analyzed.Thirdly,the key modules of the system are simulated.Furthermore,the necessary downloading and debugging are carried out.The result indicate that the design meet the technical requirement.In the end, the works of this thesis are summarized and the development of this design is expected.
