The Research And Implementation Of SLA Management In Heterogeneous/Converged Network Based On Policy

At present, telecommunication services gradually direct to diversification. The structure of the network system is also more complicated. It is more prevalent that many types of communication networks coexist. Integration and heterogeneity will become the main features of the future network. In the existing mobile network, SLA management can help service providers to clear the users'perception and to provide users with guaranteed service. In the heterogeneous/integrated network, SLA management is even more needed to help service providers to understand the users'perceived situation, and then to enhance and improve their services.This paper extensively investigates the developed status and characteristics of the heterogeneous/integrated network, explores the way on SLA management home and abroad, refers on the idea of achieving network self-management with the policies, and researches a set of methods for SLA management in the heterogeneous/converged network based on policy. Based on the life cycle of SLA as the main handhold, it focuses on the methods for SLA building and guarantee in the heterogeneous/converged network, and design and implement a SLA management platform of the heterogeneous/integrated network based on policy.Experimental results show that the platform can effectively extract the key indicators of business and successfully establish SLA; it can accuratly monitor the SLA information of the single user and the overall ones in real time, analyze and process them, and then generate the correct policies to control and adjust the network, so as to achieve the goals to gurantee the SLA.
