In the Information Age, location based information is an urgent need in economic activities, productive activities and also in people's daily life. Benefit from the rapid development of mobile terminal, wireless access technology and positioning technology, Mobile GIS, which combines with mobile technology and Geo-Spatial Information Service, makes it very convenient for users to visit spatial data resource through wireless network. And in this way, people can acquire information in real time. Mobile GIS has a very broad application prospects.At present, alien species invasion has become a great threat to our country's ecological security. However, a series of problems still exist in related informationization work. For example, lack of data source, difficulties in information acquisition and sharing etc. How to apply information technology to realize quick access to invasive alien species data and improve management efficiency has been an important topic for both related research institutes and government departments.Focused on the characteristics of invasive species information and user's requirements, a full system framework of alien invasive species information query system was established through integrating the mobile GIS technology. The functional requirements of both server and client were analyzed in detail. And the key technologies used in the implementation were discussed in deeply. Furthermore, all the function modules were designed and developed specifically.In the established system, we use the alien invasive species survey information as base data and the spatial data was build with administrative map of China. Through full investigation of business requirements, alien invasive species information query system was built with Web Service, GPS and other advanced technology. And map data synchronization, information query, thematic maps display and GPS Positioning were implemented. The system was running well after extensive testing and application and fully meets the needs of users. The application of the system raises the informatization level of ecological environment management and also provides related decision-making with better data support.
