Interaction Between Museum And The City Festival

An interactive development between museums and festival events of a city plays an important role in marketing the theme of urban culture of brand and improving the overall economic strength. On one hand, festival events itself will promote a new "city museum movement", on the other hand, the museum's participation will enhance the prospect of expectations of tourists. Therefore, we consider the museum in cooperation with the festival, they should reflect on these aspects.With the museum tourism and festival industry continues to grow, the academic research focused on the internal relations between museums and festival activities is not perfect. As is often accompanied by a large amount of passengers flow, it means a lot for museums which are free of charge and open for the public and to improve the participation rate as a goal of operation.In a word, the theoretical significance of this thesis can be summarized as the following three points: first, by analysis of the cultural phenomenon that museums participate in the festival events and investigations of visitors to museum, to promote the museum to play their own functions and at the same time to get more supports. Second, the key issue of this study is to find a balance between museums and festivals, the formation of development of regional tourism and heritage protection efforts, festivals assessments will be also included in the museum education assessment evaluation methods, which have not yet been studied in China. Thus, the study has strong value of the application and fills in the blanks. Third, by account of the development of Helan Mountain Rock Festival in Yinchuan, combined with the features and advantages of museums'participation, I put forward my own suggestions and strategies, which has a certain practical significance for tourism and festival development of Yinchuan museum.
