In recent years, with the development of science and technology, the radar has been widely used in many areas of production and life, especially in the industrial productionplays an important role in safety.However, due to the higher cost of the radar, high technical requirements and other factors, so that the radar in industrial production has not been widely used,so to improve the accuracy of radar range, reliability and and reducing the cost are the keys to improve the controllers.The deveplopment of FPGA,a kind of field programmable logic devices provides a broad space for the deveplopment of radar signal processing methods.It also provides the possibility of designing the algorithm module based on hardwares while simplifying the peripheral circuit and enhancing the integration of the algorithm module. This FPGA core, instead of high-speed DSP digital signal processing devices work, using hardware description language and schematic for the hardware design, FPGA and then realized the FFT, and ultimately achieving the purpose of the radar signal processing.Designing on FPGA can improve the reliability of the control and avoid some problems,like programme fleet,dead loop and abnormal reset,which accur to other microprocessors.It not only enhances the versatility of the module and reduces the hardware development cycle,but also simplifies the peripheral circuit and reduces the cost of the design.
