Radar signal processing is an important part of radar system. Nowadays, digital signalprocessing develops rapidly. And digital signal processing technology receives a wideapplication in radar signal processing. Because of the applications in digital signalprocessing, FPGA has gained especially important status in radar signal processing.Aim at the design and realization of radar signal processing, some work has beendone about the following two aspects in the paper.The first aspect is the design and simulation part. Taking the LFM signal for example,we discuss the theory of basic radar signal processing such as pulse compress, MovingTarget Detect (MTD), and Constant False Alarm Rate (CFAR).Then,we show the methodsin common use.Finally,we simulate these methods in MATLAB and show the figures ofeach stage. What's more, we have a view of the advantage and disadvantage betweendifferent methods through these figures.The second aspect is the FPGA realization part. Combined with the simulation results,we realize radar signal processing in FPGA by using the Xilinx's IP cores and VHDLlanguage in Xilinx ISE6.3i software integration environment. |
