With the rapid development of the national economy, motor vehicle ownership is increasing in the city, caused traffic congestion of major commercial areas are increasing, so the intelligent parking management and popularization and parking guidance system development must be resolved. To solve the problem of Parking difficulty mainly depends on increasing infrastructure (expansion of parking lot), allocating reasonable, scheduling and managing the existing parking. Thus increasing the construction of supporting facilities in management System and managing of parking lot reasonable and orderly is the key to solve the problem.This paper attempts to design a low-cost embedded car park management system, whose performance is a stable and functions is general, to meet the requirements of the majority of car park management. The system includes hardware and software systems, and this paper focuses on the realization of the hardware system. Firstly, the paper designed the structure of the system, and then discussed the hardware part of the system structure. In the design of the hardware system architecture, using modular design of each part, the modules in accordance with certain communication protocols communicate with each other, it is easy to uphold and upgrade the system in the future. In addition, the paper proposed the idea of parking guidance system design based on the system management, based on calculating the shortest distance, finding the shortest distance to the parking spaces, and then induced with LED display indicates the vehicle stops.After a preliminary design and verification, and run through preliminary testing, the hardware system can basically meet the design requirements, lay the foundation for software applications designed, and can running for long-term stability, and put a full preparation for the following work of the overall design in the car park management system with the hardware.
