Recent years have witnessed a surge in private cars, which caused parking problems in big and medium-sized cities. Considering that more and more people are used to solving problems with mobiles in daily lives, a intelligent parking management system which enables users to search parking lots and make preservation and payments, is necessary.Compared with the traditional parking management system, intelligent parking management system has many advantages. Traditional system focuses on how to control the discrepancy of every car as well as to the precise timing and charge, which lack of the demand for user humanization consideration. To improve these shortcomings and the insufficiency, based on the study of the current research of parking lot management this article related literature at home and abroad, puts forward a set of intelligent parking management system. The system in gateway for license plate recognition, and the car out time and license plate number binding to cost statistics; In mobile client, the user can search the location, selection and parking in the parking lot information surrounding the appointments, parking guidance function is also a reflect this system humanized. This system can not only improve the level of the intelligent parking lot management, also can let the car out more convenient, to the owner a good user experience.Firstly this paper introduces the research background and the significance of parking management system, expounds the video is closely related to the recognition and parking guidance system and technical principles. Then, the artical introduces the overall design of system, through the analysis of the demand for parking management to determine the function of the parking management system framework, and the database design. Finally through to the parking lot the overall function of the control, the system of each module in detail the design and implementation, using template matching and the Back Propagation neural network for license plate recognition in two ways, by Dijkstra algorithm for booking user recommend parking space. The system is largely reduced the interference of parking management in the process of human, to realize the automation and intelligent management of the parking lot.Finally, using the black box testing method tests the function of the system and analying the operation effect of the system, which ensure the availability of the system.
