Evolvable hardware(EHW) technology is a new circuits design approach with the rapid development of Programmable Logic Device (PLD). Using programmable logic hardware as carrier,EHW, which combines evlvable algorithm that simulate biosphere "survival of the fittest" rule, has self-organizable, self-adaptive and self repairable ability. EHW can improve reliability and usability of electron system because of its remarkable superiority in fault-tolerance and self-repairing system, and is appropriate for aerospace and military equipment system.This article is based on "Digital Circuit Automatic Design Based On Evolvable Hardwarea", a program of Province Natural Science Foundation, research the evolvable algorithm on evolvable hardware. Study the basic principle and realization methods of evolvable hardware and analyse the struct of Programmable Logic Device; The realization principle, working process and realization methods of evolvable algorithm are researched in this paper. Research several improved genetic algorithms direct at circuit evolutionary design, analyse the superiority and scope of application of algorithms through compare experimental data, obtain optimum process controls parameters of some algorithms; At last design plain evolvable hardware platform.
