Research On Structural Model And MAC Protocol Of Mobile Node For Hierarchical Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks are important bridge to communicate information from the physical world to the world. Currently, wireless sensor networks are in transitional phase from laboratory to commercial applications. This stage, the key issues are how to improve node mobility in the wireless sensor network, and how to reduce the energy consumption and network latency under the condition of the nodes moving.In this paper, we research the mobile wireless sensor networks. Based on the study of structural model for mobile wireless sensor network at home and abroad, we propose a hierarchical structural model for wireless sensor networks with mobile nodes and an energy-efficient mobile MAC protocol for this structural model which based on IEEE 802.15.4, in order to save energy and ensure the real-time of the network.Firstly, the paper summarizes basic concepts of wireless sensor networks and its research situation; then elaborates wireless sensor network structural models and compare them, and put forward a hierarchical structural model for wireless sensor network with the mobile nodes to with the goal of saving energy and data delay,and makes the theoretical proof and simulation.Secondly,based on the outlined of wireless sensors network MAC protocols to categorize the wireless sensors network MAC protocols, and then analysis and comparison the strengths and weaknesses of every MAC protocols. Through in-depth study on IEEE 802.15.4 MAC protocols to make the conservation of network energy for the first goal. As for the characteristics of hierarchical mobile node's wireless network architectural, then start the study on the efficient of energy, and proposed the movement MAC protocols which is based on the energy efficient IEEE 802.15.4 MAC protocols.Finally, after studying the hierarchical structural model for wireless sensor network with the mobile nodes and its MAC protocol, the ZigBee protocol which has been standardized by IEEE will be researched, and then we will introduce the ZigBee protocol and summarize its main features. Ultimately, we configure and modify the hardware and software environments for wireless sensor network, and verify the correctness of this network by an example of collection of text information.
